We are showing items from a Swedish nursery dated 1891. The nursery maid wore a stiffly starched apron with a matching hat - the Parlor maid wore a frilly organdy embroidered apron and a perky circle of lace on her head. The lady herself wore beautifuly embroidered handmade drawers. Baby Christening dresses were long, lace trimmed and embroidered.
