Atlanta Antique Gallery Return Policy

Customer satisfaction is 100% guaranteed on web sites sales. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you must notify the Gallery via email to info@atlantaantiquegallery.com or by phone at 770-457-7444 immediately, and return the item within 3 days of receipt. There is a 12% restocking charge (with a $40.00 min & $150.00 max charge) for all returned items. A credit less the restocking charge will be issued within 5 business days of receipt of the returned item. All returns should be pre-approved by AAG in advance of the return. Shipping and insurance for the returned items are the buyers responsibility. The original outbound shipping costs are reimbursed at 50%. Returns must be insured for the item's full value. Items not returned in their original outbound condition will not be reimbursed.

Shipping & the Return of a Damaged Item Policy

The Atlanta Antique Gallery takes pride its Shipping Department. Antiques are unique items, that cannot be replaced if the product is damaged during shipping. We understand the disappointment of just one antique being lost to shipping damage. Our dealers and customers have demanded the best when it comes to shipping antiques. We package the items so that no damage will occur during normal, and even some abnormal, shipping conditions. All of this extra attention does cost a little more, but we have found that these costs are minimal when compared to the cost of losing just one priceless item to shipping damage.

If your item arrives damaged, please notify us within 24-48 hours. You must retain all packaging in order for a claim to be filed with the shipping company. Returns must be insured for the item's full value. If the packaging is discarded, no claim can be filed and the item will not be covered under the shipping insurance. By clicking "submit" on the checkout page you are acknowledging our return policy. Restocking fee's do not apply to damaged returns.

Layaway Items Policy

The above policy also applies to items returned from layaway, and or purchases awaiting payment or shipping. In making a "down-payment" for a layaway you are acknowledging our return policy. There are NO exceptions to the return policy, as these fees need to be charged, to cover the lost sales opportunity for the returned item & to cover website relisting costs. Layaways that have gone beyond 30 days, are deemed to be "abandoned" by the customer, and will be returned to the Galleries inventory, with all layaway monies forfeited by the customer.

Exchanges

The Atlanta Antique Gallery only allows exchanges of equal or higher value of items that are exchanged to and from the exact same dealer, as the original selling dealer. Exchanges must be processed within 5 days of the original purchase. Exchanges also carry a $10.00 admin fee.

Mechanical Items Policy

General Disclaimer For Mechanical and Electric Units If Applicable: We cannot guarantee antique and vintage items for mechanical reliability. These items were manufactured many years ago and in many cases have not been in operation for several years. This includes clocks, watches, toys, radios, etc.

Bad Checks/Credit Cards

Returned checks are charged at $25.00 & Declined Credit Card transactions also carry a $25.00 in-store processing fee.
