German Dessert Set (Partial). Early 1900's. Fruit compote with handpainted fruit. 3 plates with same pattern. 2nd compote available free with purchase (chip). 5 piece set. KPM Berlin Mark-1763-present. Even today, every single item ismarked with the royal blue scepter. When a plate is painted, it is also given a special color mark and the initials of the individual painter are added. This is what makes them so desirable.
