French Enamel Jewelry casket

In the great tradition of Sevres is this large and impressive French Enameled Jewelry casket with a masterfully detailed gilt brass frame that mimics a carriage. The openwork crown tops off its impressive size of 10.5 inches long, 10.5 inches high and 7.5 inches wide. Each hand-painted cartouche shows Victorian couples in garden scenes. A blue inkstain mark on the base is undistinguishable...but clearly a piece of fine quality.
