Dragonware, Japanese & Occupied Japan. Dragonware is a form of moriage pottery made since the late 19th century. Moriage is a type of decoration on Japanese pottery. For example, raised white designs are applied to the ware. White dragons are the major raised decorations on the moriage called dragonware.
Description: Gray background with gold luster inside and gold trim. Moriage is in excellent condition. Cups are 2" tall x 3" wide. Saucers are 4 3/4" wide. Dragon has traditional gray and white color with blue accents and pink tongue.
