Orientalia is the name given to an exotic genre of art that began in China and Japan in the 17th century, born of a fascination for all things oriental, and continued to develop through the 18th and 19th Century. Orentalia takes it's inspiration from the beautiful paintings of this period - fascinating and so romantic, an invitation to go on a journey - real or imaginary.
