Atlanta Antique Gallery - Orientalia

Other Collectables - Orientalia
Orientalia is the name given to an exotic genre of art that began in China and Japan in the 17th century, born of a fascination for all things oriental, and continued to develop through the 18th and 19th Century. Orentalia takes it's inspiration from the beautiful paintings of this period - fascinating and so romantic, an invitation to go on a journey - real or imaginary. Such items include Netsuke, Snuff Bottles, Ivory Carvings, Jade and other hard stone carvings, Cloisonne from Japan and China, Porcelain, Pottery, Furniture, Wood Carvings, Jade and Stone.
